5/7/2024 Release Notes

Web Updates:

  • Update Primary Notification Numbers : We've added a function under the notifications settings page that will allow you to populate the primary notifications number for your customers, using their existing home or mobile number.  This will allow you to copy over all existing home or mobile customer phone numbers into the primary notifications field if a current number doesn't exist.  Note that this will not override any existing values that you may have set for your passengers, it is only meant to add the number for anyone missing it.

  • Enhanced Notification Verification: We've improved how notifications are handled by implementing a new validation tool. Now, before a text message is sent, the system checks to ensure the number is not a landline. If a landline number is used, the message will not be sent, and an error will be noted in the 'Sent' tab of notifications.

  • Trips Screen Access Improved: We've fixed an issue that required users to have access to the dispatch tab to manage trips. Access to manage and create trips on the web app is now correctly associated with the desktop home tab.

  • WMR White Label Configuration: Updates have been made to the customization of Where's My Ride links sent to passengers. Now, saving your configurations will trigger a confirmation popup, reducing confusion and ensuring changes are noted immediately.

Desktop Updates:

  • Change History Storage Enhancement: Significant updates have been made to how change history logs are stored internally. This update is essential for supporting future database enhancements aimed at increasing performance by regionalizing databases.

  • Notification Settings Bug Fixed: A bug that previously prevented new customers from updating individual passenger notification settings has been fixed, ensuring that all users have the ability to fine tune notifications settings for individual passengers.

As always, we thank you for your continued support and feedback, which are crucial in helping us improve and serve you better.

Warm Regards,

The MediRoutes Development Team
